The Lifecycle of A Whiteboard Marker

March 26, 2009

Here’s a great diagram illustrating the lifecycle of a whiteboard marker. http://www.howproductsimpact.net/lifecycle/lifecycleflow.htm

The diagram is great. But there’s a problem! Most whiteboard markers are made from petrochemicals, and can’t be recycled at the end of their life. They’re made out of disposable plastics.

But knowing about where products come from (the cradle) the more conscious we can be about what we buy and how we can dispose or recycle them (the grave).
