To see a celebration dedicated to environmental issues become so significant over the last 40 years is truly inspiring. Many thanks are owed to the originators of Earth Day back in the late 60’s and early 70’s (peace activist John McConnell, Senator Gaylord Nelson, Ralph Nader and author Rachel Carson among them), as they provided the foundation for this to become a truly global event.
Make the most of Earth Day 2009!
And as many people focused on the environment say, “Make every day Earth Day”
