Refillable Dry Erase Markers

March 12, 2008

Refillable dry erase markers (whiteboard markers) simply make sense. We were talking with a teacher from British Columbia this morning who has been using the AusPen markers for over two years now and she estimates that her use alone has kept over 140 disposable plastic markers out of the local landfill and has saved her school over $100 - that is from one single teacher making one very small change.

Imagine when you multiply that across an entire school, then an entire school district. It equates to thousands of pounds of toxic waste pulled away from local landfills and tens of thousands of dollars in cost savings for the schools. That is money that can be spent on books, computers, athletic equipment, etc.

And what a great example that teacher is setting for her students.

Great Gift For A Teacher - AusPen

March 10, 2008

We’ve had many parents and friends of teachers purchase an AusPen Instructor Kit (the equivalent of 246 markers) as a gift for their favorite educator. If you know a teacher with a birthday coming up, or are looking at something special to give your child’s teacher at the end of the school year, please consider one with an eco-friendly theme, like our AusPen markers.

Plus, they’ll have markers for next year or more; and never have to throw away another disposable one into the landfill.

Save Money With AusPen Markers

March 10, 2008

One disposable marker doesn’t cost a lot, maybe $1.00. Thousands and thousands of disposable markers do cost a lot. Every day, and today is no different, we receive feedback from schools who use our AusPen markers that they love the cost savings that these eco-friendly markers provide.
With our new 2008 reduced pricing, the AusPen markers average 28 cents per pen, which is a huge savings for schools when multiplied over the term, or school year and all the teaching staff.

Save money, help your local environment - switch to AusPen markers.

Green Products Expo

March 6, 2008

Despite the fact it was -100 degrees (maybe not quite that cold) the Green Products Expo in New York last week went well. There was a good turn out from editors and media personnel who were interested in learning more about “innovative” green products. We met several other business owners who are committed to sustainability and reducing toxins in our environment, which is always nice.

All that and we had a couple of great meals in the city…but it was cold, bitterly cold.
